Invested in Davidson:
I LOVE Davidson. This is the community we chose when we returned to the US eleven years ago. I am grateful for the opportunity to raise my daughters here and often joke with my wife that our girls are “free range” kids because of the opportunities Davidson provides. Davidson is genuine, unique, and a strong community where neighbors support each other. I look forward to serving each member of our community if elected Commissioner.
I want to see Davidson to continue to be grown in instead of outgrow in the town. We "grow in" when we reinvest in downtown, east and west Davidson, create housing opportunities that are affordable and accessible, diversify transportation, promote safer streets, and protect our green spaces. We will not "outgrow" Davidson if we invest in local business, neighborhood improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and stakeholder collaboration.
I will encourage investment in our community and foster an environment where all people feel welcomed.
As your commissioner, I will work hard to continue building a community that is Economically viable, Environmentally aware, and Sustainable for the future
What makes me a great candidate for Davidson Commissioner:
I have been in sales and executive leadership throughout my career. My work experience has been in domestic and international business development. I've worked with large public, private equity and family owned businesses in my career.
The town needs leaders to have a business lens in making town decisions. As Commissioner, I will be able to evaluate the revenue risk v/s rewards in decision making.
My experience will benefit the town in exploring land development, diversifying the tax base to attract more corporate and retail partners and look at existing town planning ordinances to see if the current ordinances are favorable or unfavorable in expanding future economic viability.

Smart Growth
- Support neighborhood livability through improved access
- Improve foot and bike access to promote safety and convenience
- Diversify the tax base with more corporate and retail partners
- Explore and provide a variety of transportation options
- Make development and infrastructure decisions based on the rubric of what is fair, predictable, timely, and best value.

- Improve and maintain infrastructure in the West, East, and Downtown Davidson
- Create a range of affordable housing opportunities and choices
- Preserve open spaces by extending the greenway and expanding parks, including dog parks
- Foster a community that demonstrates and supports a strong sense of place, enjoyment, love, and respect
Overall, my goal is to encourage community involvement and stakeholder collaboration in all Town decisions. When we invite the right people to the table, we will create Smart Growth for a Sustainable Future.
Get to know me:
My family and I LOVE Davidson. My lovely wife, Becky, and I have three wonderful daughters, Hadley (20), Wylie (15), and Cleo (10), and two dogs, Ollie and Beau. Becky and I have enjoyed watching our girls grow up in this incredible community.
When we moved to Davidson from Luxembourg, after a four-year ex pat assignment, our family had the option to move anywhere in the Charlotte area. However, Davidson was the only place that felt right for the entire family.
Our first two homes were in downtown Davidson, and we now live in the new Westbranch community.
We have had the opportunity to move away but have always chosen to stay in Davidson.
What we all love about Davidson is the people. Our lives are so enriched with the diverse group of friends and neighbors that call Davidson home. I’m excited and grateful to run for a position on the Town Board and to serve the individuals and businesses that make Davidson so unique.

You can find our family at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings, sitting on the patio at Pickled Peach, or enjoying the flavor of the day at Whit’s. Becky and I also enjoy dates at Summit and Kindred.
We are members of St. Albans Episcopal Church and actively support Davidson charities, including A Giving Spirit Foundation, Team Summit Foundation, and the ADA Jenkins Center. I also support and contribute to Warriors SOAR, a national veteran’s foundation that assist wounded heroes in outreach assistance and recovery.
